Here are some more cool tips / tricks you can do on your Amazon Device.
1. Close all Background APPs with 1-click
Firstly ensure you have ADB enabled
Download “Easy Fire tools” From the PlayStore store on your phone
Start Easy Fire Tools and click on the icon at the top
Click on the connect button on the top right
You will see an “Allow USB Debugging” prompt on your Firestick
Once connected, click on the hamburger menu in Easy Fire Tools
You will then see a list of all background running apps
Click on this cross to close them all down
Click OK and all the apps will be closed with 1 click
2. Use Teamviewer to remotely view a Firestick
Download Teamviewer from here and install it on your firestick.
When you launch it, you will see a connect ID
To see the screen from another Computer / MAC / phone, install Team Viewer from their website and start it.
You will be asked for an ID to connect to.
Enter in the ID from the Firestick and click on Connect.
On your Firestick, you will see this prompt:
Click Allow and then you will see this
Click on Start now
You will now see the Firestick Screen on your computer
3. Mirror Screen from IPhone / IPad
On your Firestick, install Airscreen from the app store
Once Installed, open it up and click on Start Now
Click on Settings
Turn off Google Cast and DLNA. Ensure Hardware acceleration is enabled
Press Back on the remote and scroll up to click on Start.
On your iDevice, swipe up from bottom and select screen mirroring. You will see your device in the list. As soon as you click it, you will be able to see your iDevice’s screen on your Firestick
4. Use ADB to improve UI performance
We can use ADB to improve the performance of your Amazon device. Firstly we need to install Remote ADB from here
Ensure you have enabled ADB enabled in Settings — My Fire TV — Developer Options.
Open Remote ADB and enter the localhost IP 127.0.0.1 on port 5555
Once connected enter in the this command:settings put system animator_duration_scale 0.0
click Run
This will improve the UI performance
5. Improve Privacy and Stop Amazon collecting data
Go to Settings — Privacy Settings and turn OFF Device usage data, Collect App usage data and Interest based ADS
