Software Needed (1 to 3 are required, the rest only needed if you want a custom background)
- Button Mapper
- Choose A Launcher:
- Choose a wallpaper
- X-Plore (A great file manager and also needed if you want to rename you downloaded files
Steps
Install Button mapper from the above link and also the launcher you like.
Start button mapper and you will see

Click on OK and then open up device preferences

Inside Accessibility, turn on the feature for Button Mapper


As soon as you turn the on, you will see

We can now customise the home button action.

In my example, I will change the single tap home to open the Wolf Launcher

Press the home key

You will now see the Wofl launcher.
If you want to change the background, open up the launcher settings

Select Wallpaper

Enable the first option

Click on Select Wallpaper
Allow the permissions

Click on Internal Storage

Open the downloader folder

Any picture you downloaded via Downloader will be in here. You can select that and your background will change

How to enable widgets
Use Remote ADB shell on your device to make a connection.
once connected enter in the following command
appwidget grantbind --package com.wolf.firelauncher --user 0
You can now install some applications (Weather / clock etc) that support widgets. The one used in my video is from Aptoide TV:

This will give a result like:

How to go back to default launcher
You can either remove the button mapper or just reset the default home action back to defaults.
You will still see the custom launcher until you press the home key
